SolarEdge is now looking to engage a full time Field Service Engineer in Sydney to assist our customers with servicing, troubleshooting and upgrading deployed SolarEdge equipment.

Responsibilities

  • A regional resource to resolve issues over the phone or on site.
  • Train, assist and support installers. Troubleshoot systems with SolarEdge products on the field
  • Propose alternative system designs to achieve better functionality of the system- best practice and efficient design methods
  • Travel to installers or end-user customers to provide service or provide emergency repair service.
  • Assist/approve commissioning of residential or commercial Solar Systems and provide a final commissioning report
  • Ensure that all qualifications remain up to date. These included. CPR, First Aid and LVR, driver’s license etc.
  • Work together with operations to provide parts needed to solve problems encountered by customers and contractors
  • Manage the database of customer installations/sites for products performance, reporting, replacements, or troubleshooting purposes

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in the Solar industry, including 1 year that is a customer-facing technical role 
  • Electrical contractors license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Traveling to sites
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with customers, peers, and managers.
  • Self-contained and self-organized working style
  • Working at heights license
  • Computer skills: MS Office - Mandatory
