We continuously strive to improve the quality of our products in order to surpass our customers’ highest expectations.

ISO 27001 and 27017
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard on how to manage information security. It details requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS) – the aim of which is to help organizations make the information assets they hold more secure. Organizations that meet the standard's requirements can choose to be certified by an accredited certification body following successful completion of an audit. By adhering to the standard, SolarEdge is attesting to its adoption of security information practices across its network and systems. In addition, we have also adopted the ISO 27017 standard, which provides guidelines for information security controls specifically for cloud services providers and customers (internal and external).

WEEE
The European Union (EU) Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive requires manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment to support the “Take Back” program by financing the reuse or recycling of products released in the EU market after August 13, 2005. All of SolarEdge’s relevant products display the wheel bin symbol in accordance with WEEE requirements. SolarEdge is registered for WEEE compliance in Germany (registration no. DE20777619), Italy (registration IT19120000011918) and in the Netherlands.

RoHS
SolarEdge understands the detrimental impact hazardous substances can have on the environment, especially when not disposed of properly. We are fully compliant with the European Union Restrictions on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, which restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. We continuously update company procedures in accordance with the strictest environmental regulations.

REACH
REACH (European Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) was introduced on June 1, 2007 in order to improve the protection of human health and the environment. When it comes to dealing with potential risks posed by hazardous chemicals, the directive places the onus on the company, as opposed to a third-party regulator. REACH promotes greater communication and cooperation between all companies in the supply chain. SolarEdge places the protection of human health and the environment at the highest level of importance. We are constantly working to improve the quality and efficiency of our products, while ensuring complete compliance with the latest REACH protocols. EPD – Environmental Product Declatations
In early 2025, SolarEdge has completed the process of life cycle analysis (LCA) research and the subsequent publication of Environmental Product Declatations for three of its key products. The LCA research included an evaluation of environmental performance over the entire life cycle of our products. The entire value chain of our products was examined to study its environmental impact, from material extraction to manufactured product, usage stage and end of life. The LCA results were externally verified and were registered with the International EPD® System.
