Ronen Faier

Interim Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ronen Faier joined SolarEdge in 2011 as our Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Faier served from 2008 to 2010 as the Chief Financial Officer of modu Ltd, a privately owned Israeli company. Between 2004 and 2007, Mr. Faier held several senior finance positions, including Chief Financial Officer at Msystems prior to its acquisition by SanDisk Corporation in 2006.

Mr. Faier also serves as a member of the board at Monday.com and at Kaltura, Inc. He holds a CPA (Israel) license, an MBA (with Honors) from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Ariel Porat

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Porat joined SolarEdge with more than a decade of leadership and finance experience in various industries and global corporations, with his last position as Head of Europe Region for Siemens Energy.

Prior to that position, Porat was CEO of Siemens Israel from 2021-2020, and prior to that served as the CFO of Siemens Israel from 2017-2020.

Mr. Porat brings a wealth of experience and expertise from working for large multinational companies, such as TEVA Pharmaceutical, Siemens AG, and Siemens
Energy AG, and experience in the fields of Energy, Healthcare, Mobility, and Industry.

Rachel Prishkolnik

VP General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Ms. Rachel Prishkolnik joined SolarEdge in 2010 as our Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mrs. Prishkolnik served as the Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. At Gilat she held various positions beginning as Legal Counsel in 2001 and becoming Corporate Secretary in 2004 and Vice President, General Counsel in 2007. Prior to Gilat, she worked at the law firm of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro LLP in Los Angeles.

Ms. Prishkolnik holds an LLB law degree from the Faculty of Law at the Tel Aviv University and a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She is licensed to practice law and is a member of the Israeli Bar.

Uri Bechor

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Uri Bechor joined SolarEdge in 2019 as our Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Bechor was at Flex for 22 years where he served as Senior Vice President, Global Operations, Europe and the Americas and General Manager at Flex International Ltd. Mr. Bechor, in his previous position, oversaw more than forty manufacturing sites and was responsible for revenues of more than $10 billion.

Ilan Yoscovich

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Ilan Yoscovich joined SolarEdge in 2008 and currently serves as our Chief Technology Officer.

Mr. Yoscovich is responsible for leading our future technology strategy, managing some of the most innovative PV power harvesting development activities within the Company and overseeing research and development and product activities with respect to technology, intellectual property, performance and cost structure. Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Yoscovich served as Chief Technology Officer of Slyde Technologies, a wireless technology start-up company, between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Yoscovich spent 10 years with the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. During this period, Mr. Yoscovich held various research and development and management positions.

Mr. Yoscovich holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Shuli Ishai

Chief Human Resources Officer and Corporate VP

Ms. Shuli ‏Sharabani Ishai joined SolarEdge in 2020 as our Vice President of Global Human Resources.

Ms. Ishai brings a wealth of experience to her role, previously serving as Executive Vice President of HR and MIS at Stratasys, Chief Resource Officer at Netafim, and Corporate Vice President of HR at Nice.

Ms. Ishai holds a BA and an MA in Art History from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Organizational Behavior from Tel Aviv University.

Liron Har-Shai

VP R&D, Solar

Mr. Liron Har-Shai joined SolarEdge in 2009 and is currently responsible for all hardware Research and Development, as well as leading SolarEdge’s R&D program management.

Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Har-Shai served for 8 years in the Electronics Research Department (ERD), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. During this period, Mr. Har-Shai held various positions, and managed numerous innovative, multi-disciplinary large scale techno-operational projects.

Mr. Har-Shai holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology in Haifa, and an M.Sc in Bio-Medical Engineering (cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University.

Ido Ginodi

Chief Product Officer

Mr. Ido Ginodi joined SolarEdge in 2021 as our Vice President of Global Product Management.

Appointed Chief Product Officer in 2024, Mr. Ginodi is responsible for shaping the product strategy and portfolio for residential, commercial, and optimized utility segments.

Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Ginodi was a co-founder of a data-driven immunology startup and a strategic advisor to early and growth-stage startup companies. Earlier, he served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the aMoon VC fund, and in various tech leadership positions with the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. Ido built and led multiple multi-disciplinary teams of hundreds of engineers while there.

Mr. Ginodi holds an M.Sc in computer science from the Hebrew University, as well as an MBA from Tel-Aviv University.

Daniel Huber

Chief Revenue Officer

Mr. Daniel Huber joined SolarEdge in 2010 and currently serves as our Chief Revenue Officer as well as General Manager in Australia, Japan, India, LATAM, Africa and Israel

Prior to his current position, Mr. Huber held various executive sales and business management positions in SolarEdge, and prior to that, in Baccini Cell Systems, a division in the Applied Materials Solar Business Group.

Mr. Huber Holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management,  from Tel Aviv University.

Bertrand Vandewiele

North America General Manger

Mr. Bertrand Vandewiele leads the North America team as General Manager for SolarEdge in the Americas and is responsible for all business activities in this region.

Mr. Vandewiele has a proven track record in the sustainable energy space and leading global commercial building solutions and has served in leadership positions at ABB, Honeywell and Phillips. His experience is focused on working with residential and commercial developers, innovating the experience for them and their customers with smart energy solutions.

Christian Carraro

Europe General Manager

Mr. Christian Carraro joined SolarEdge in 2016 and currently serves as General Manager Europe, overseeing all business activities in the region.

Mr. Carraro has spent over 15 years in the solar industry, with expertise across the entire value chain, including solar cell manufacturing, EPCs, and distribution channels. He is highly experienced in business development and organizational startups. Before joining SolarEdge, he served as the EMEA General Manager at Tigo Energy. 
Mr. Carraro holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Genova in Italy.

Amir Gat

General Manager International Markets

Mr. Amir Gat joined SolarEdge in 2022 and currently serves as Vice President and General Manager of International Markets. He oversees the company’s growth and strategic initiatives across global territories.

Mr. Gat brings a wealth of experience in strategy and international partnerships, having served as SolarEdge’s VP of Strategy and Partnerships, and prior to that, distinguished service of 30 years in the Israeli Air Force, as Head of Israeli Air Force Intelligence and Brigadier General.

Mr. Gat holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering and an M.A. in Political Science with a focus on Diplomacy and Security, both from Tel-Aviv University.

Shuki Nir

Chief Marketing Officer

Mr. Shuki Nir joined SolarEdge in 2024 and currently serves as our Chief Marketing Officer. 

Mr. Nir has an extensive background in marketing and management. Prior to joining SolarEdge, he was a strategic consultant from 2017 to 2024. He served as the General Manager of the Consumer Business Unit and Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing at SanDisk Corp (Nasdaq: SNDK) from 2008 to 2016. Before that, he held various executive sales and marketing positions at SanDisk and M-Systems (Nasdaq: FLSH).

Mr. Nir holds an MBA, an LLB, and a BA in Accounting, all from Tel Aviv University.

Alon Shapira

VP Quality & Reliability

Mr. Alon Shapira joined SolarEdge in 2012 and currently serves as the company’s Vice President, Quality and Reliability.

Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Shapira served over 19 years in multiple leadership positions with the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. His positions at ERD included serving as deputy to the head of the ERD,Vice President of Research and Development.

Mr. Shapira holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (summa cum laude) from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology in Haifa and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering Systems (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

Naama Ohana

VP & General Manager Commercial Business Unit

Ms. Naama Ohana joined SolarEdge in 2013, and is currently leading our global commercial business unit. Previously she held various executive sales and business management positions in SolarEdge.

Prior to joining SolarEdge, she worked at Bosch Israel, managing purchasing, service, and business development for the renewable energy division.

Ms. Ohana holds a B.Sc in Industrial Engineering and Management, from Ben Gurion University and a Global M.B.A., from IDC Herzeliya.

Ofer Bokobza

General Manager, Energy Storage Division

Mr. Ofer Bokobza joined SolarEdge in 2023 as General Manager, Energy Storage Division.

Mr. Bokobza brings rich corporate management experience to this strategic position, including serving as COO at Align, a global medical device company, from 2018 to 2023. Prior to Align, Mr. Bokobza was CEO of Expanding Orthopedics from 2010 to 2018 where he took the company from concept to commercialization to acquisition. He has also served in various VP and General Manager positions in the semiconductor industry, many of which with Applied Materials Inc. 

Mr. Bokobza holds a BSC in Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Zvi Lando

Board Member & Special Advisor

Mr. Zvi Lando joined SolarEdge in 2009 As VP sales, and served as CEO between 2019 and 2024.

Mr. Lando had previously spent 16 years at Applied Materials, based in Santa Clara, California, where he held several positions, including process engineer for metal deposition and chemical vapor deposition systems, business manager for the Process Diagnostic and Control Group, Vice President, and General Manager of the Baccini Cell Systems Division in the Applied Materials Solar Business Group.

Mr. Lando holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology in Haifa, and is the author of several publications in the field of chemical deposition.

Yoav Galin

Co-Founder

Mr. Yoav Galin co-founded SolarEdge in 2006 and has served since our founding as our Vice President, Research & Development where he was responsible for leading the execution of our technology strategy, building and managing the technology team and overseeing research and development of SolarEdge’s innovative PV power harvesting products.

Prior to joining SolarEdge, Mr. Galin served for 11 years at the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. During this period, Mr. Galin held various research and development and management positions.

Mr. Galin holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Meir Adest

Co-founder

Mr. Meir Adest co-founded SolarEdge in 2006 and has served since 2007 as our Vice President, Core Technologies where he was responsible for SolarEdge’s certification and research of future technologies. He was appointed to serve as our Chief Information Officer in 2018 and appointed as Chief Product & Information Officer in 2020.

Prior to co-founding SolarEdge, Mr. Adest spent 7 years at the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems, where he held a number of positions and managed large-scale techno-operational projects.

Mr. Adest holds a B.Sc in mathematics, physics, and computer science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
