SolarEdge Streamlines C&I Solar-Plus-Storage with Optimized Integrated Solution
SolarEdge ONE EMS with Socomec Battery simplifies deployment and supports NEM 3.0 projects in California
Milpitas, CA – February 4, 2026 – SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. a global leader in smart energy technology, today announced a new integrated PV-plus-storage offering for the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment in the U.S. and Canada. The solution includes SolarEdge’s field-proven C&I PV inverters and power optimizers, designed to meet FEOC and Domestic Content requirements, ; its advanced SolarEdge ONE for C&I Energy Management System (EMS), and storage systems from Socomec Inc., a global expert in energy performance.
As California's NEM 3.0 policy shifts C&I developers toward maximization of self-consumption strategies, this new solution represents SolarEdge’s increased traction within the growing U.S. C&I storage market. Building on its position as the #1 commercial inverter brand in the U.S., designed to meet domestic content and FEOC requirements, SolarEdge marks an expansion into integrated C&I storage solutions in 2026. The offering also unlocks a major retrofit opportunity for SolarEdge’s existing C&I install base. Without requiring PV system redesign, developers and building owners can cost-effectively add storage, opening immediate and significant revenue and savings opportunities and removing common project retrofit barriers like complexity and re-engineering.
This solution delivers a holistic, systems-based solution for C&I customers—combining PV, storage, and EMS—through a single unified platform. By reducing traditional three-vendor integration into a simplified two-vendor system, the solution helps developers simplify system design, deployment, and compliance, while offering a scalable path to energy resilience and long-term value. The Socomec SUNSYS HES L Skid provides a power range of 50 to 300 kVA and 204 to 612 kWh of energy capacity, delivering flexible scalability for diverse commercial applications.
“C&I developers have long struggled with the traditional three-vendor model—separate PV, storage, and EMS providers—which complicates integration, commissioning, and support,” said Marty Rogers, GM of North America at SolarEdge. “As the #1 commercial inverter brand in the U.S., we're solving this with a truly integrated solution that reduces system complexity and increases reliability for commissioning and ongoing operations.”
The SolarEdge ONE for C&I EMS intelligently optimizes both PV and storage through a single native platform, enabling projects to maximize on-site solar use and qualify for expedited interconnection. Capabilities include Maximized Self-Consumption (MSC), peak shaving to reduce demand charges, and Time-of-Use (ToU) scheduling with non-export and power-export control.
“This integrated solution positions us with an advantage, as we meet market demand head-on,” added Rogers. “We’re simplifying deployment, and helping customers thrive in a complex and competitive energy environment by maximizing project Return on Investment.”
“We’re proud to collaborate with SolarEdge to bring this robust, integrated solution to the C&I market,” said Jérôme Mattern, Head of Sales & BD – ESS NAM at Socomec. “Our shared commitment to simplicity, streamlined operations and long-term performance will help accelerate commercial solar-plus-storage adoption.”
