Revenue Team Lead

We recently acquired couple of companies which brought lots of accounting and business challenges and as part of that we are looking for a talented revenue team leader to join our team.

The revenue team is leading a complicated, cross organization issues that supports the company’s development. 

What will you be doing: 

·      Play a key role in the implementation of ASC 606, including establishing accounting policies, identifying performance obligations for the Company's contracts and revenue elements. development of internal controls and processes.

·      Responsible for month-end close activities, including preparing monthly revenue recognition and commission amortization journal entries, monthly revenue analytics and deferred revenue account reconciliations.

·      Manage and ensure accurate and timely quarterly accounting close of revenue related accounts and accounts receivable.

·      Periodically review and update the Company's revenue recognition policy documentation.

·      Work closely with the Company's external auditors to ensure approved revenue policies are adhered to and monitored and prepare schedules and reports in support of annual audit ensuring that all revenue deliverable are met.

·      Provide support and guidance to the sales, legal, and operations teams during contract negotiations, pilot programs, and reviews in the areas of revenue recognition

·      Work in close coordination with Corporate Finance functions on accounting and quarter close related activities

·      Review existing processes and evaluate future changes required to ensure the most efficient and effective means for revenue recognition.

·      Control all incentive plans offered to the company customers

Requirements:

·      BA degree (Economics, Accounting or equivalent) – a must.

·      CPA – a must.

·      Up to 3 years of experience as an economist / controller – a must.

·      Proven experience – ASC 606 guidance, SSP analysis, Profitability analysis, business plans modeling, business KPIs definition.

·      Big data analysis oriented.

·      Experience in working with a variety of interfaces, management, and global partners.

·      Proficiency in Excel – a must.

·      English - professional level, written and verbal.

·      People’s person, team player, positive, and a “can do” approach – a must.

·      Details oriented along with the ability to see the “big” picture – a must.

·      Strong orientation to information systems/ computers.

·      Ability to work at a very high pace and under a tight schedule.

·      Oracle experience – an advantage
