Senior Embedded Linux Engineer

What You Will Be Doing:

  •  Develop low-level firmware in close collaboration with hardware and ASIC design teams.
  •  Lead the development of Board Support Packages (BSP) for ARM Cortex-A processor-based boards, including U-Boot, Linux kernel, and device drivers, to enable initial board bring-up and system integration.
  •  Define and implement platform layer software architecture for a variety of hardware components and board configurations.
  • Work collaboratively within a large team of Embedded Linux developers.

  •   B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent – required.
  •   3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining BSPs for embedded systems (experience with ARM Cortex-A systems is a plus) – required.
  •     3+ years of experience in developing Embedded Linux device drivers and strong understanding in Linux internals – required.
  •  Strong proficiency in C programming – required.
  •  Ability to read and understand schematics, and experience using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG tools – big advantage.
  •  Experience with Secure Boot, Secure Storage, TrustZone, OP-TEE, authentication/encryption, and/or security hardware accelerators – a strong advantage.
  •  Experience in Linux user space application development – an advantage.
  •   Proficiency in Linux kernel internals and Embedded Linux build systems (Buildroot or Yocto) – an advantage.
  •  Experience with CANbus, WiFi, BLE, Cellular, and SubGHz driver development – an advantage.
  •   Hands-on experience with DDR calibration and debugging, eMMC Flash devices and USB EHCI drivers – an advantage.
  •    Familiarity with Python and C++ – an advantage.
  •    Experience in working with ASICs on new SoC bring-up, writing ROM code, and post-silicon validation – an advantage.
