The product department at SolarEdge is the driving force behind the development of all new products. Our team is responsible for implementing strategy, roadmaps, and feature definitions for all SolarEdge product lines, both hardware and software, throughout the product lifecycle.
We Are Hiring: Product Manager
We are looking for a self-motivated and problem-solving Product Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will generate product requirements by identifying potential opportunities and conducting market research and analyses. You will own the product definition, introduction to the market, and product lifecycle, indirectly managing activities across multiple teams including R&D, engineering, operations, sales, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the product lifecycle from planning through research, development, and launch.
- Collect, prioritize, and communicate product requirements and features for current and future products.
- Collaborate with all departments to identify gaps and align product efforts.
- Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape.
- Identify and resolve problems promptly, using data-driven decisions to find alternative solutions.
- Quickly learn and address unfamiliar customer technical and commercial issues.
- Utilize SolarEdge’s internal resources to analyze global solar installations and drive new offerings.
- Support the development of technical materials such as manuals, product presentations, and training to communicate product advantages and benefits.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the development of hardware or electrical systems. Experience in managing hardware products or working in the energy industry is preferred.
- Education: B.Sc. is required; an MBA is an advantage.
- Personal Attributes: Self-organized, process-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Global Exposure: At least 3 years of experience in a global company.
- Strategic Insight: Experience in roles involving business and/or strategic planning is an advantage.
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to build organized, detail-oriented requirements and project plans.
- Multitasking Ability: Capable of handling various priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, white-boarding, and presentation skills.
- Language Proficiency: Highly articulate and clear in both spoken and written English.
- Self-Learner: A self-motivated individual who constantly seeks knowledge and enjoys sharing it with others.
