Job Title: Field Service Engineer (FSE)
Location: Ludhiana-Punjab, India.
Reporting to: Service Manager/ Field Service Team Leader
What will you be doing?
- Provide onsite support services.
- Provide telephonic support and email support to customers.
- Replacing PCB in products.
- Remote troubleshooting of solar inverter and monitoring products.
- Work with the regional sales team for technical consultation.
- Participate in team meetings and collaboratively work with overseas colleagues to solve customer complaints.
- Manage the monitoring database of customer installations.
- Manage the configuration database of customer installations/sites for product performance reporting, replacements, or troubleshooting purposes.
- Work with customer support software.
- Generate reports for every site visit and lodge them in the CRM. Resolve cases lodged by customers in CRM.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to handle product movement.
- Work together with operations to validate the authorization to release parts needed to solve problems encountered by customers.
- Maintain spare stock and inventory.
Job Requirements
- Engineering or technical qualification in electrical and electronics is a must.
- 1+ years of Hands-on Experience in field support, technical role, or handling products is necessary.
- Experience with Photovoltaic systems- an advantage.
- Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- English, speaking and writing is necessary.
- Ability to speak Marathi, Hindi and other regional languages – an advantage.
- Willingness for travel - predominately intra-state and interstate if required.
- Self-starter and quick learner.
- Self-contained and self-organized working style.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with customers, partners, peers, and managers.
- Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.
