We are looking for a highly motivated Hardware Digital Engineer with a passion for hardware design, to join our Hardware Digital team. The Digital team is part of a larger hardware group, which develops all the hardware infrastructure designs of the hardware division, such as digital designs, analog designs, automated tests and more. The team works on new projects and products, with cutting-edge technologies, and is responsible for the design and development of all communication solutions and digital control boards for SolarEdge products.
As a Hardware Digital Engineer, you will take part in the projects from design to production. You will need to have relevant experience in hardware development, specifically in digital circuits.
What will you be doing:
- You will be responsible for design, development and testing digital boards and products
- You will be working on several development projects in parallel, at all project stages until production
- You will be working in a multidisciplinary environment, and in collaboration with other departments
- B.Sc. in electrical engineering with 3-5 years of experience in digital board design-Must
- Experience with MCUs/MPUs designs, and memory components such as DDRs, eMMC, Flash-Must
- Familiarity with communication protocols including USB, SPI, I2C, UART, SDIO, CAN, RS485-Must
- Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity analysis - Must
- Experience in designing RF communication systems, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular.
- Ability to develop from marketing specifications to mass production and leading product improvements.
- Proficiency in using design and simulation tools such as Allegro Designer, OrCAD, or similar.
- Collaboration skills with various departments (Marketing, Mechanics, Engineering, ATE, Reliability).
- Quick learner with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
