All Energy Australia 2023: SolarEdge to Highlight New Backup and Smart Energy Management Capabilities
Appearance of the first Bidirectional DC EV Charger at All Energy: The new charger will enable solar-powered Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) functionalities. The Charger’s DC-coupled architecture is expected to offer several benefits, such as avoiding unnecessary power conversions, often referred to as the triple conversion penalty, enabling faster, more efficient home charging of up to 24kW.[MP1] [LS2]
Three Phase Backup Interface: First appearance of SolarEdge's new three-phase backup solution, enabling full home backup during grid interruptions. The scalable solution combines both SolarEdge Home Hub and Genesis Inverters with backup power of up to 30kW with a battery capacity of up to 90 kWh. It will provide backup to all single phase loads in three phase homes and can enable home backup using a minimum of just one single phase Homer Hub inverter. The company will also show new improvements to the SolarEdge Home installation and commissioning processes, highlighting faster and simpler installations for residential battery and backup systems.
